Start the check-in
Open Check-in on the phone, choose Customer vehicle and enter the repair order number.
No double check-ins
If the car already has its drop-off photos, you are told before you start, and can look at them first.
Compare with Tekmetric
See what Tekmetric already has for the car and check it matches the car in front of you. If it doesn’t match, open the repair order in Tekmetric and fix it there.
Take and tag the photos
Tag each photo as you take it: VIN, plate, odometer, tire size, keys, oil sticker.
Enter what the photos show
Type the VIN, plate and mileage from the tagged photos. The VIN is checked as you type, and check-in can’t finish until it is valid.
Answer and upload
Answer the vehicle questions and press Save & Upload.
